Alexandra, Yiannis, and Matt first met in the summer of 2003 while living and working in the Ionian Islands of Greece. United by a shared passion for Greek hospitality, fresh food, and good drink, their friendship was born out of a love for everything the Greek lifestyle embodies. Over the next 22 years, they each pursued a career in hospitality, collectively gaining over 65 years of experience in food, drink, and service.
Driven by their deep affection for Greece, they’ve come together once again to bring a taste of it to the UK—welcome to Big Malakas, home of the gyros.
